Hosted Blog DNS: Bluehost

Add the CNAME record for your Grandranker hosted blog in the Bluehost Portal.

Point your blog subdomain (e.g. blog.yourdomain.com) at Grandranker with one CNAME record — the Bluehost steps.

You need: DNS access in the Bluehost Portal, plus the Host/Target values on the Hosted Blog screen (copyable).

How to Connect

Applies only if your domain uses Bluehost nameservers. Otherwise add the record wherever your authoritative DNS lives.

In Grandranker, Integrations → Hosted Blog, enter your blog subdomain. Not www, not your root domain — that takes your site offline.
Keep the screen open — it shows Host/Target and checks DNS automatically.
Sign in to the Bluehost Portal, open Domains.
Select your domain, open its DNS tab.
Under Manage Advanced DNS Records, + Add record → Single record.
Choose CNAME, enter Host as the name.
Enter Target, keep the default TTL, Add.
Back in Grandranker, status moves Not connected → Provisioning DNS + SSL… → Live on its own. Then the screen links to your blog and published articles appear there automatically.

Bluehost changes can take 24–48 hours. Confirm the record is saved with the right target and wait.

Check Nameservers for the domain — if they point away from Bluehost, your record is never used.
