Shoptet

Publish blog posts to your Shoptet store.

Grandranker publishes blog articles directly to your Shoptet e-shop. The connection has two parts: you connect your e-shop once with a Shoptet API token on the Products page, then pick which blog section published articles should land in.

The Shoptet connect wizard in Grandranker

What you need: a Shoptet e-shop on the Shoptet Premium tariff (API access is Premium-only) and an API access token, created in your Shoptet administration under Connections β†’ Access to API.

How to Connect

  1. Connect your e-shop first. In Grandranker, open the Products page. In your Shoptet administration, go to Connections β†’ Access to API, create a new API access token, and paste it into the API Token field in the Connect Shoptet dialog. Click Connect.
  2. Now go to Integrations and choose Shoptet. The page shows which e-shop it will use: "Using the e-shop already connected on the Products page". If you skipped step 1, you will see a notice asking you to connect on the Products page first. Publishing uses that connection.
  3. Choose a Blog Section. Shoptet requires every article to belong to a section, so this field is mandatory. Grandranker loads the list of sections from your e-shop.
  4. Choose a Default Status: Visible (articles appear on your blog immediately) or Hidden (articles are created but not shown until you make them visible in Shoptet).
  5. Click Test Connection to confirm Grandranker can reach your e-shop.
  6. Click Save & Connect.

Publishing & Verifying

When you publish an article in Grandranker, it is created in the blog section you selected. It carries the title, body, URL slug and meta tags. To verify:

  • Publish one article. Then check the chosen section in your Shoptet administration.
  • If your Default Status is Hidden, the article exists in Shoptet but is not on your public blog. Flip it to visible in Shoptet, or change the default in Grandranker.

One Shoptet connection also powers product sync on the Products page, so the same token serves both publishing and your product catalog. See E-commerce Product Sync for that side.

Troubleshooting

"Connect your Shoptet e-shop on the Products page first"

The publishing integration reuses the e-shop connection made on the Products page. It has no credentials of its own. Connect there with your API token, then come back to the integration screen.

The Blog Section dropdown says "Could not load sections from Shoptet"

Shoptet did not return your blog sections. Check that the API token has access to the Articles endpoint group in your Shoptet API access settings. Then reload the page.

The dropdown says "This e-shop has no blog sections yet"

Grandranker can only publish into an existing section. Create a blog section in your Shoptet administration first. Then reload the integration page and select it.

I can't create an API token in Shoptet

API access requires the Shoptet Premium tariff. On lower tariffs the Access to API option is not available. Contact Shoptet about upgrading.
