Integrations

Blogger

Publish posts to a Blogger blog.

The Blogger integration publishes Grandranker articles natively to your Blogger blog via the Google Blogger API. Connection is a one-click Google sign-in. No API keys to copy. After authorizing, you pick which blog to publish to (if your Google account has more than one) and whether posts go live immediately or wait as drafts.

The Blogger connect wizard in Grandranker

What you need: a Google account that owns or administers at least one Blogger blog.

How to Connect

  1. In Grandranker, open Integrations and pick Blogger.
  2. Click Connect with Google. You will be redirected to Google to authorize Grandranker.
  3. Approve access. You are returned to the integration page showing Connected with your blog's name and URL.
  4. Adjust the settings:
    • Blog: shown only if your Google account has more than one Blogger blog. Pick the one to publish to.
    • Default Status: Draft or Live. Draft sends every article to Blogger for review. Live publishes posts on your blog immediately.
  5. Click Save Settings.

Publishing & Verifying

Articles publish as Blogger posts with your chosen default status. Scheduled articles from the Content Planner publish automatically on their planned dates.

To verify:

  • Publish one article from Grandranker.
  • Open your Blogger dashboard. The post should appear under Posts, as a draft or published depending on Default Status.
  • If Live, open the post on your blog URL and check it renders correctly.

To disconnect, click Disconnect on the Blogger integration page. Existing posts on the blog are untouched.

Troubleshooting

The Google sign-in completes but the page shows an error

Make sure the Google account you signed in with actually has a Blogger blog. If the account has no blogs, there is nothing to connect to. Create a blog at blogger.com first, then reconnect.

I connected the wrong Google account or blog

If your account has multiple blogs, use the Blog dropdown on the integration page to switch, then click Save Settings. If you signed in with the wrong Google account entirely, click Disconnect. Then click Connect with Google again and pick the correct account on the Google account chooser.

Posts stay invisible on my blog

Check Default Status. If it's set to Draft, posts wait in the Blogger dashboard until you publish them manually there. Switch to Live and save if you want automatic publishing.

Publishing suddenly stopped working

Google access can be revoked from your Google account's security settings. It also breaks if the connected blog is deleted. Disconnect and reconnect with Google to restore access, then confirm the right blog is selected.
