Claude & ChatGPT

Connect an AI assistant to Grandranker and work with your websites, keywords, articles and rankings in plain language. For example: "Show my 5 newest articles", "Which keywords dropped this week?" or "Write an article for the keyword multichannel selling".

How to Connect

Claude (claude.ai and the Claude apps)

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
2. Paste the server address above and click Add.
3. Sign in to Grandranker, pick the workspace and click Allow.

ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and choose Add → Add custom MCP server.
2. Name it Grandranker, paste the server address above and keep OAuth as the authentication.
3. Click Create, then Continue to Grandranker. Sign in, pick the workspace and click Allow.
4. In a chat, type @Grandranker and your question.

Claude Code

1. Run claude mcp add --transport http grandranker https://app.grandranker.com/mcp/grandranker.
2. In Claude Code, run /mcp, select grandranker and choose Authenticate.
3. Keep that screen open, click Allow in the browser, and wait until it shows connected.

What the assistant can do

• Read your websites, keywords, articles, rankings and AI-search visibility.
• Add keywords and start AI keyword research.
• Generate, edit, score, publish and unpublish articles.
• Change your business details, audience and writing instructions.

Generated and regenerated articles count against your plan's article limit, the same as in the app.

What the assistant cannot do

• See or change billing, plans, payments or add-ons.
• Create API tokens, plugin tokens or webhooks, or read their secrets.
• See passwords, API keys or tokens for your connected publishing platforms.
• Reach any workspace other than the one you picked when you clicked Allow.

One workspace per connection

Each connection is locked to one workspace. Agencies pick the agency workspace or one active client workspace on the Allow screen. To work in a different workspace, connect again and pick that workspace. The assistant can only see that workspace's websites.

Disconnect

Open Settings → API Tokens. Under Connected AI agents, click Disconnect next to the assistant. Access stops at once. Changing your password, leaving the workspace or deactivating your account also disconnects every assistant.

Your data

The assistant receives only what you ask it to read, from the workspace you picked. Your use of Claude or ChatGPT follows that provider's own terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

• "This action isn't available through AI agents": the request touches billing, tokens or webhooks. Do it in the Grandranker app.
• No active subscription: the workspace you picked has no active plan. Connect again and pick a workspace with a plan.
• Claude Code stays on "Needs authentication": run /mcp again and keep the screen open until you click Allow.
