Domains & Websites

Add, configure and manage the websites Grandranker writes for.

Every website you add to Grandranker gets its own SEO agent: dedicated keyword research, its own content calendar, article settings, integrations, and analytics. Nothing is shared between websites, so an agency client and your own product never mix.

The Websites screen listing connected domains

You manage websites under Settings β†’ Domains (app.grandranker.com/domains).

The Domains list

The Domains page lists every website in your workspace. Each row shows the site's name and URL, a Primary badge on your main site, and a GSC Connected badge once Google Search Console is linked. From the row menu you can:

  • Edit: change the Domain Name or Website URL.
  • Set as Primary: make this the workspace's main site.
  • Delete: remove the site. You'll be asked to confirm. Deleting permanently removes all keywords, articles, and settings associated with that domain, and it cannot be undone.

You can switch between websites at any time. Every screen in the app (keywords, planner, articles, analytics) shows data for the currently active website only.

Adding a website

Click Add Website. Your first website is included in your plan; each additional website is billed separately (the dialog shows monthly, 6-month, and yearly pricing; yearly is the cheapest per month). Enter a Website name and optionally the Website URL, then continue to checkout.

After adding a site, Grandranker takes you straight into onboarding for it:

  1. Website URL: Grandranker fetches your site and auto-detects business details: business name, description, industry, language, country, brand color, and even which platform your site runs on.
  2. Business Details: review and correct what was detected.
  3. Target Audience, Competitors, and Pain Points: three short steps that feed keyword research and content generation.
  4. Connect Your Blog: optionally set your Sitemap URL and Blog URL so generated articles can link back to your content.
  5. Grandranker then generates keyword ideas, estimates search volume and difficulty, builds a 30-day content calendar, and starts your first article.

Tip: the auto-detection is good but not perfect. Double-check the business description and language in step 2. Everything downstream (keywords, articles) is built on this profile.

Per-website settings

Each website has its own settings pages in the left settings navigation:

  • General Settings: business details (name, URL, industry, Language, Country, business description), plus Target Audiences, Competitors, and Pain Points. An Auto-fill with AI button re-analyzes your website to complete missing fields. Add at least two audiences and two pain points. The AI uses these to keep content on-target.
  • Article Settings: everything about how articles are written and look. See Article Settings.
  • Integrations: where articles get published. See the Integrations overview.
  • Team Members and API Tokens: access control and the REST API.

General Settings also contains the danger zone: deleting a website removes it with all keywords, articles, and analytics.

FAQ

How many websites can I add?

There's no fixed cap. Your plan covers your first website; each additional one is a paid add-on with its own subscription.

Does deleting a website stop its billing?

Deleting a website automatically cancels its Articles Plan subscription. If the website itself was billed separately, check your subscription under Plans & Billing after deleting to confirm nothing is left running.

Can I change the website URL later?

Yes, via Edit on the Domains page. A URL can only be registered once across Grandranker; if you see "This website is already registered on another account", contact support.

What does "Primary" mean?

Your first website becomes primary automatically. Set as Primary moves the badge to any other site.
