Getting started
How long does setup take?
About five minutes of your time. You answer six onboarding steps, then Grandranker researches keywords, builds a 30-day content calendar, and starts your first article automatically. See the Onboarding Walkthrough.
Do I need to connect a CMS?
No. Articles are always available in the app, where you can review, edit, and export them. Connecting a CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, and many more) lets Grandranker publish for you on schedule. Browse the Integrations overview. If you don't have a CMS at all, the Hosted Blog and JS Embed options work without one.
Can I try Grandranker before paying?
Yes. Free accounts can generate up to 3 articles to see the quality for themselves. Ongoing daily generation and scheduled publishing are for paid plans.
Article generation
How often are articles generated?
Daily. Grandranker's scheduler generates articles for each of your websites every day, up to your plan's daily quota, following the schedule in your Content Planner. A second pass runs later the same day to catch anything that was missed.
Can I control what gets written?
Yes. The calendar in the Content Planner decides which keyword and topic each article targets, and you can add, remove, or reschedule entries. Writing style, branding, internal links, and more are controlled in Article Settings.
Can I edit articles before they go live?
Yes. Every article is created as a draft you can open in the editor. Whether drafts publish automatically is up to you (see below).
Publishing
Do articles publish automatically?
Only if you want them to. Each website has an auto-publish setting: when it's on, drafts are published to your connected platform on their scheduled date; when it's off, articles wait as drafts for you to review and publish manually. See Articles & Editor.
What happens if publishing fails?
Grandranker retries automatically. The scheduled publisher re-attempts failed articles once per day, so a temporarily broken connection recovers on its own. If an article keeps failing, retries stop after the cap is reached and you're notified so you can fix the integration and retry manually. Common causes and fixes are in Troubleshooting.
Can I schedule when articles publish?
Yes. Each article has a scheduled publish date driven by your content calendar, and the publisher runs daily to release whatever is due.
Languages
What languages can Grandranker write in?
Over 100 languages, from major global languages like English, Spanish, German, Japanese, and Arabic to regional ones like Slovenian, Icelandic, and Swahili. You pick your primary content language during onboarding.
Can one website publish in multiple languages?
Yes. You can add additional languages to a website so articles are generated and published in each one. See Languages.
Billing
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the organization level. You pick a plan on the subscribe page, and you can manage your subscription, payment method, and invoices any time through the billing portal in the app (requires billing permission). Details are on Plans & Billing.
Shopify merchants: if you installed Grandranker through Shopify, billing runs through Shopify's app billing instead of Stripe, on your regular Shopify invoice.
I run an agency: can I manage multiple clients?
Yes. Agency mode lets you manage separate client organizations from one account, each with its own subscription. See Agency Mode.
How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel?
Through the billing portal in the app, under your plan settings. Changes take effect through Stripe immediately. If something isn't working for you, email us first.
