Integrations

GoHighLevel

Publish blog posts to GoHighLevel.

The GoHighLevel integration publishes Grandranker articles to a blog inside a GoHighLevel sub-account. It authenticates with a Private Integration token scoped to the blog APIs, and lets you pick the exact blog, author, and category every post should use.

The GoHighLevel connect wizard in Grandranker

What you need: a GoHighLevel plan with Blogs enabled, admin access to the sub-account you want to publish into, and at least one author and one category on that blog. GoHighLevel requires both on every post.

How to Connect

  1. Open the GoHighLevel sub-account you want to publish into. Not the agency view.
  2. Go to Settings β†’ Private Integrations, then Create new integration and name it "Grandranker".
  3. Tick these scopes:
    • blogs/post.write: create posts
    • blogs/post-update.write: sync later edits
    • blogs/list.readonly: list your blogs
    • blogs/author.readonly and blogs/category.readonly
    • blogs/check-slug.readonly: avoids duplicate URLs
  4. Copy the token. It starts with pit- and is shown only once.
  5. In Grandranker, open Integrations, pick GoHighLevel, and paste the token into Private Integration Token.
  6. Enter your Location ID (in your GoHighLevel address bar at /location/<ID>/, or under Settings β†’ Business Profile).
  7. Click Fetch blogs, then pick a Blog, Author, and Category from the dropdowns. If only one option exists, it's selected for you.
  8. Click Test Connection. Click Save & Connect.

Publishing & Verifying

Articles publish as posts on the selected blog, attributed to your chosen author and filed under your chosen category. Scheduled articles from the Content Planner publish automatically.

To verify:

  • Publish one article from Grandranker.
  • In GoHighLevel, go to Sites β†’ Blogs in the sub-account and open the blog. The post should be there with the right author and category.
  • Check the post on your live blog URL.

To disconnect, open the GoHighLevel integration page and click Disconnect.

Troubleshooting

"Could not fetch blogs. Check the token and Location ID."

  • The token must come from a Private Integration created inside the same sub-account as the Location ID. An agency-level token or a token from a different sub-account will not work.
  • Confirm the Location ID matches the sub-account. Compare it with the /location/<ID>/ segment in your address bar.
  • Confirm the token includes the blogs/list.readonly scope. Tokens are shown only once. If you're unsure what scopes it has, create a new one.

The Author or Category dropdown is empty

Your blog has no authors or categories yet. Two fixes:

  • Create an author and a category in GoHighLevel under Sites β†’ Blogs, then click Fetch blogs again.
  • Or re-create your token with the blogs/author.write and blogs/category.write scopes added. Grandranker can then set up a default author and category for you automatically.

There's no Private Integrations menu, or no blog scopes are offered

Blogs aren't enabled on your GoHighLevel plan. You'll need to upgrade your GoHighLevel plan before connecting.

The token stopped working

Private Integration tokens become invalid if the integration is deleted or the token is rotated in GoHighLevel. Create a fresh token with the scopes from step 3, paste it into the form, and save again.
