Wix
Publish blog posts to your Wix site.
The Wix integration publishes Grandranker articles to your Wix Blog through the Wix REST API. You connect once with an API key and your Site ID; after that, articles publish to your blog automatically.
What you need: a Wix site with the Blog app installed, and access to your Wix account's API Keys page. Make sure the Blog app is installed before connecting.
How to Connect
- Go to your Wix Dashboard → Settings → API Keys.
- Click Generate API Key and name it "GrandRanker".
- Under Permissions, search for and add Manage Blog (under the Blog category).
- Click Generate Key and copy the API Key. It won't be shown again.
- Find your Site ID under Dashboard → Settings → Advanced → Site ID. You can also read it from your Wix dashboard URL, which contains the site ID.
- In Grandranker, open Integrations → Add New Integration at app.grandranker.com/integrations/create and pick Wix.
- Paste the API Key and Site ID into the form.
- Click Test Connection to verify the credentials, then Save & Connect.
Publishing & Verifying
Once connected, articles you publish in Grandranker are created as posts on your Wix Blog. To verify, open your Wix dashboard → Blog and confirm the new post appears. It renders on your live site wherever your blog pages are set up.
Troubleshooting
Test Connection fails
- Confirm the API key was created with the Manage Blog permission. A key without it can't create posts.
- Check the Site ID belongs to the same site you want to publish to. If your Wix account has multiple sites, each has its own Site ID under Settings → Advanced → Site ID.
- Make sure you copied the full API key when it was generated. If you lost it, generate a new key and update the integration.
"Connection failed" even with correct credentials
The Blog app may not be installed on the site. In the Wix dashboard, add the Wix Blog app to your site, then run Test Connection again.
Posts publish but don't show on my site
The post exists in your Wix Blog but your site may not display the blog feed on any page. In the Wix editor, confirm your blog page or blog feed element is present and the site is published.
I need to switch to a different Wix site
Open the Wix integration page in Grandranker, click Disconnect, then reconnect with the other site's Site ID and an API key that covers it.
